mirrormeet Privacy Policy

Last updated: [fill in on publish]

1. Who we are

mirrormeet is operated by Tomorrow Technology Design LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Service, why, and who we share it with. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, which covers recording consent and session data retention in more detail (Sections 2 and 8).

2. Information you give us

Account email address; your name, if you provide one; the meeting link you paste in to start a session; payment details (handled entirely by Stripe -- we never see or store your card number); and anything you type into notes, comments, or support messages.

3. Information collected automatically

When a session runs, the mirrormeet helper records the audio and video of the meeting it joins (see Terms Section 2), which is then analyzed for the technical parameters described there. We also log basic technical data needed to operate the Service -- IP address, browser/device information, and timestamps of account activity -- for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.

4. How we use it

To run and score your sessions; to operate your account, credits, and billing; to send account-related email (confirmations, receipts, password resets); to detect and prevent abuse of the Service; and to improve mirrormeet's own analysis quality. We do not use your recordings to train third-party AI models beyond the single analysis call made for your own session.

5. Third-party service providers

We share the minimum data each provider needs to do its job, under their own privacy and security terms:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share recordings or analysis data with third parties beyond those listed here except as required by law.

6. Data retention

Session recordings (video and audio files) are retained for six (6) months from the session date, then deleted (Terms Section 8). The resulting analysis scores and session metadata remain in your account for as long as the account is active. A test you delete is held in a recycle bin for 30 days so you can restore it, then permanently deleted along with its recording and scores. Longer-term storage plans and data-transition options are available on request. Account records (email, credits, billing history) are retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account details from your account page at any time. To request a copy of your personal information, or to request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us through our support page -- we'll respond and complete verified requests within a reasonable time, subject to what we're legally required to keep (e.g., billing records). If you're in a jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights (such as the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), those requests are handled the same way.

8. Cookies and similar technology

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in -- it's required for the Service to function and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We don't run third-party ad trackers on the app itself.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18 (Terms Section 14). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International data transfer

Our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries. By using the Service, you consent to your information being processed in those locations.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Contact
